The University of Regina went undefeated through both pool play and championship round play sucessfully defending their National Championship title. A strong first inning against Calgary in the Championship game propelled them to a 5 – 3 win. Leslie Miller received the Most Valuable Player award for her strong pitching performance, and MacKenzie Acton won the Top Batter award in Championship play.
Regina advanced to the Championship with pool play wins over Fanshawe College ( 8 – 1 ), Brock University ( 7 – 0 ), Wilfred Laurier University ( 2 – 0 ); then a semifinal win against OIWFA Champion Western University ( 10 – 2 ).
Wilfred Laurier University received the Bronze Medal after winning against Western University 4 – 3.
