The three WCSA teams attending the CCSA National Championships acquitted themselves well. The University of Saskatchewan brings home a Silver Medal as National runners up. After being down by 5 runs, they came back to make the game close by scoring 4, eventually losing 5-4.
Regina, after losing to Saskatchewan in the semi-final, rebounded and defeated Durham College 9-0, winning the bronze medal.
The University of Calgary battled in the round robin but a pair of 3-2 losses ( Western in 12 innings and Saskatchewan ) pushed them out of the medal round and they finished seventh.
