The U of Saskatchewan didn’t cool down at all when the weather cooled off on Sunday, after winning 3 on Saturday under sunny skies. They continued by winning 2 more on Sunday to go 5 – 0 on opening weekend. The University of Regina only lost once ( to Saskatchewan ), going 4 – 1. SAIT Polytecnic and the University of Calgary both went 2 – 4, while Briercrest went 0 – 5. We saw some great play by both returning players, and rookies alike, and the talent pool keeps increasing across all teams in the league. Next up are 2 midweek games in Regina on Wednesday, then the weekend will be split between games in both Moose Jaw and Regina. Hope to see you there.
