SAIT Trojans and the University of Calgary Dinos hosted the second weekend of WCSA games at Shouldice Athletic Park in Calgary. The sun was shining, and it was a beautiful weekend at the park. All seven WCSA teams were playing. The offensive explosion continued with most games being high-scoring and competitive. The Calgary Dinos had a fantastic weekend with a perfect 5 wins and no losses including beating the 2021 league champions UBCO Heat by a 5 to 0 score. UBCO Heat started their season with 5 wins and 1 loss. Lethbridge had some close games and ended up with a tie with SAIT. Victoria had another strong showing with 4 wins.
Next week is regional action with games in Victoria (UBCO, SAIT, UVic) and Saskatoon (SAIT, Regina, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Lethbridge).
