2019 WCSA Regular Season Schedule released

The 2019 WCSA regular season schedule was released today, and will see the seven teams play a 20 game schedule. The sseason will open on two fronts on August 30. Briercrest College will host the Saskatchewan teams over the Labour Day weekend, while the Alberta teams will play in Kelowna for the first time. Kelowna will play their first WCSA game against the University of Calgary Friday August 30 at Kings Stadium, followed by SAIT Polytechnic later that evening. The University of Lethbridge will play their first WCSA game starting on Saturday at 9:30 AM against UBCO. Additionally, the University of Victoria will be playing exhibition games against the WCSA teams; and UBCO – Blue will play exhibition games as well.

In all the season has 70 games scheduled, with all teams hosting through September and October. The schedule is unbalanced, with all teams scheduled to play each other 3 times each; plus an additional game against 2 other schools. The University of Calgary, SAIT Polytechnic and UBC-Okanagan will play each other 4 times this season, while the University of Regina plays Briercrest College and the University of Saskatchewan 4 times, Briercrest College plays the University of Regina and the University of Lethbridge 4 times, the University of Lethbridge plays Briercrest College and the University of Saskatchewan 4  times, and the University of Saskatchewan plays the University of Lethbridge and University of Regina 4 times.

Playoffs will be at Industrial Diamonds in Calgary, the weekend of Otober 4 to 6.
